Q: What is Central Laboratory?
A: In general it is an analytical chemistry laboratory designed to house high tech equipment manned by highly trained officers. The idea is to develop a laboratory that is accessible to everybody in the University and subsequently to the industries in the vicinity. Central Lab is a stand-alone entity in UMP and is not placed under any faculty to date.
Q: Why do clients have to pay?
A: We are supporting the University objective in financial growth and sustainability. A large portion of the payment will go down into maintenance and running cost of the whole laboratory. Our multi million equipment require a large sum of money for annual maintenance.
Q: Who is in charge of the lab?
A: A Director supervising the whole lab operation, Science Officer as the Person in Charge of laboratory and equipment and Administrative Officers
Q: Is anybody allowed to use the lab/equipment? Why?
A: No, The idea is to maintain a certain standard on equipment longevity, performance, safety and accreditation. However, the Director of Central Lab reserve the authority to the matter above

Q: What is the waiting period until final results are release?
